AutoTrader - Branding and Visual Identity
For three years, I worked for Canada's largest automotive marketplace, AutoTrader. During my time there, I was responsible for the majority of advertising and marketing materials, from YouTube ads, digital ads and out of home billboards.
I played a pivotal role in elevating the brand's visual identity by contributing to the promotion of the "Crest" logo (the capital A and leaf from the original logo. This design element was instrumental in establishing a cohesive and recognizable brand presence across various platforms.
Prior to my involvement with the brand, all imagery involved studio based photography of vehicles in a white studio. I incorporated lifestyle imagery to showcase vehicles in relatable, everyday settings, reinforcing AutoTrader.ca's connection to real-world experiences. These experiences showcased beautiful ideal moments with cars, engaging the viewers and entice them to find their next vehicle on AutoTrader.
By blending thoughtful design with aspirational visuals, I helped position AutoTrader.ca as a trusted and relatable platform for car buyers and sellers alike. This project highlights my ability to develop impactful brand elements while integrating them seamlessly into visually engaging narratives.
